Corfu has a mixture of sandy and pebble beaches, with crystal clear water. This Greek Island sits in the Ionian Sea (and is, in fact, the second largest Greek Island in the Ionian Sea), and like many of the Greek Islands, is a real gem to visit. If you just want to have a break for a few days, spend some time on those beaches - or in that lovely sea. Or should you want to explore some of the ancient sites on Corfu, try the "Old Fortress", which was built in the 15th Century - and is now one of Corfu's most popular tourist attractions.
